It was a vibrant affair on a muddy pitch against Sandstone FC. The game started with a fast pace with the Virtual Booters dominating possession. We quickly nabbed an early goal through Alex and it looked as though Sandstone were crumbling.

A ruling discrepancy however, caused us to concede a goal on the last play of the first half.

The second half started in a similar fashion as the first with the Virtual Booters once again controlling the ball and the flow of the game. Jonathan was a rock in defence alongside Michael, stifling most of the attacking plays.

One particular counter attack looked like a certain goal, however Chad came up with an excellent reflex save on a 1 on 1 opportunity.

Noel was a unit up front and was giving the defenders a lot to worry about, however his lack of Physical boots was dampening his efforts on goal.

Unfortunately we were a player short all game against 6 men and it started taking its toll. We conceded a second goal mid-way through the second half.

We quickly piled men forward to try and steal a draw with Michael pulling off a reflex shot at goal to no avail.

The final score was 2-1.
